The $10,000 turntable by Nak (affectionately known as the Squatting Toad) that
came out about two years ago has been joined by a lower cost version, with arm,
that does the same thing. Its price is only $1700. I still think that's too
much to pay for a player when we can't get unwarped records. Whatever. It
looks evil squatting like its father up there on your phono shelf, all black
and massive. That must be worth something...
When is Nakamichi going to come out with a CD RECORDER? Then I'll buy CDs,
maybe. Rumors have been floating about...
