I am curious about how Compact (audio) Disks are encoded; can anyone out there either describe the coding briefly or point me towards references? A co-worker is interested in capturing the digital data, perhaps altering it, and then allowing it to be analogized*. Any ideas? If there is enough interest, I'll summarize to the net. * I can't resist word games.
