<this is where you put Linn/Naim advertising> Again, I agree with Dick Dunn's analysis of the latest flame from Linn/Naim. As I've said before (and have had some interesting arguments with a VERY iconoclastic Linn dealer in the suburbs of NYC (but in NY State) - the only reason I'm not mentioning the name is to cover my *&% against possible legal action) ANY audible difference between amplifiers is due to something that CAN be measured in theory. We may not yet know WHERE to look for it, butr it is there. I agree with Julian Hirsch (who I still have a high regard for, although I'm disgusted with the editors of "Stereo Review" - why doesn't JH leave SR and go to a hi-fi magazine, rather than a slick video/pop/consumer electronics rag (which is what SR has become, just like "High Fidelity" (sic)) -then I'd have no qualms about cancelling my SR subscription. Frankly, I've yet to see a favorable review, from a reviewer I respect (Hirsch, T$S, or most of "Audio"'s staff), of any Naim equipment and the stuff is overpriced to boot. Regards (and end of flame), Bill Mitchell (whuxl!wjm) Naturally, these are my personal opinions, and not those of my employer.
