To the people who make slurs at Technics products:

I own an SLP 8 CD player...

I own an SPL 7 CD player, and I am extremely pleased with it. The main
problem I see with it (it's the bottom-of-the-line, "no nifty features"
model) is that the price kept going down after I bought the thing!

I, for one, don't have the "golden ears". As irresponsible as I was with
LP care-and-feeding, the CD is a godsend.
