[ %-( ] The saga of a poor but enthusiastic seeker for CD's goes on. You may recall how I fought my way to Tower Records in NYC only to find everything priced higher than my home town. Then, the next day found huge discount ads in the paper. I vowed - never again... I just don't adhear to my vows, I guess. Yesterday, on the way home from the Audio Engineering Exhibits in NYC I walked half a mile (it seemed like more) to visit Tower Records a second time. This time I was loaded for bear! I had along my trusty two page ad from the previous day's New York Times listing fantastic CD and record sales. And my list of CD's I just had to buy. Result financial disaster? No. It seems this time they had maybe a dozen brands on sale, but no stock. Of, yeah there were a few of some of the brands on sale, but I had never seen so many EMI CD's before (EMI not on sale). It's not possible for me to believe they were cleaned out in 24 hours. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!! p.s. j&rmusic world was closed. I hear they have great discounts & stock....
