Today, I got a call from Tom Holman--who is truly now with Lucasfilms. He explained that he had in fact left Apt and that the company had...I guess "languished" would be appropriate...for a while but was now getting going again and will not only have the same (Holman) preamp but some new products soon. So, apparently Apt has already had its little problem and is on the heal. (And let's hear it for netnews, which got me this information so quickly.
