[net.audio] DAK equalizer deal

The DAk catalogue I just received has a BSR EQ-3000 10-band graphic equalizer
with pink noise generator and spectrum analyzer "close-out" priced at $149 (US)
Is this really a good deal?  Any catches? (No, you don't have to buy their tape)
Any good/better value-for-money alternatives?

I have a ADC (which I believe is the same as the BSR) and find it to
be rather noisy.
