In various places, I've seen references to a Hafler 101 preamp. Yet their current literature seems to list only the 100 (very inexpensive!) and the 110 (almost twice the price of the 100). Was the 101 an upgrade of the 100 that was later replaced by the 110? Answers by mail, please; if anyone wants to know the definitive answer I'll post it (once!) later. This is a composite of answers I received from several people: The Hafler DH-101 was Hafler's first product. It was a preamp that used discrete transistors. The DH-110 has more flexibility and better components than the 101, while the DH-100 uses IC's for gain and is thus cheaper. Presumably, the availability of these two preamps made the 101 obsolete.
