In re DAK offering a BSR 10 band EQ for $149. I would not expect the EQ to be a high quality product. It costs about $500 (with discounts) for a good 10 band graphic EQ (Audio Control, Soundcraftsmen, etc.), so any unit selling for $200 or less is going to have unacceptable a) noise, b) distortion, and c) frequency response when used with any high fidelity system (including a budget system costing around $500). If you want to improve a budget system, and only have $150 to spend, I'd recommend getting better speakers, since that will give you the best return on your investment. In most cases, buying a $150 equalizer is throwing money away. Regards, Bill Mitchell ({ihnp4!}lcuxc!wjm)
