<<>> I'm looking at an advertisement for this beastie in today's (28 December 1984) Chicago Tribune, and I am particularly interested. Not only do they advertise a price of less than $300, and not only is this device portable (ala Walkman) but they are also offering a deal on CBS CD's (you can purchase up to 30 CBS CD's for $7.99/each). Does anybody have any experience with this device that they care to share with me? Please mail (with the 'r' key) replies to me; if interest is expressed I will summarize whatever I learn to the net. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Henry C. There is a new magazine called DIGITAL AUDIO that I spotted yesterday; it reviews the new SONY and calls it a "minor miracle". I am REAL interested in the "beastie" myself, altho I plan to wait until CD prices go down below $10. The issue I saw reviewed most of the major CDs; the writing seemed to be pretty good.
