[net.audio] Hitachi DA-4000 CD player

A local dealer is offering a Hitachi DA-4000 CD player ( a demo unit)
for $299.

Before talking to the dealer or testing the unit, I attempted to find
out about it by looking in the annual equipment directory published
by Audio magazine.  This unit was not listed in either the '83 or '84
directory.  Has anyone ever heard of this unit?  Is it too old or too
new to be covered in the '83 and '84 directories?  Anybody out there
own one?
