[net.audio] GREY GOODS

To All Purchaser's of Grey Goods:

Warning: Grey goods usuall means they were built for 220 AC power sources
and converted to 110 AC. This is usually accompanied by a disclaimer
that says if modified, warranty is VOID. I've heard horror stories
of equipment modified and a few months later big problems and no warranty

Also, I understood Grey Goods to refer to non-American warranty. If it
breaks, donn't bother the American Distributer's organization. Send it
back to Japan and they'll fix it, maybe, and return it, perhaps.
