I recently upgraded my speaker wire from #18 stranded speaker wire to #12 stranded copper general purpose wire (sold in spools in various colors at Radio Shack). CONCLUSION: Perception tells me that I sense the sound to be slightly "stronger" somehow. [System is 75W/channel. Speakers are old KLH 2-ways with 10" woofers] While re-wiring, I had a thought: Why not use auto jumper cables? Put battery terminals on the speakers and the amplifier (preferably on the front of each for that "high-tech" look). Then simply use the heaviest jumper cables available to complete the connections. This approach would definitely serve as a conversion starter in the living room!!! -- \\\ \\\\ Art Stadlin \\\\\\________!{akgua,ihnp4,houxm}!hou2h!stadlin
