I just got the Keith Jarrett/The Koln Concert CD which contains the following bogosity on the outer package. Because of time limitations of the format, the encore on side four from the original album The Koln Concert does not appear on this Compact Disc. The CD runs 59:09. The encore they left out runs 6:59 (according to the album notes on the CD). My calculations show, had they left in the missing piece, the full album would run 66:08. I have been led to believe that a CD can hold 72~74 minutes of material. Considering this, I am at a lost to understand what "restrictions" prevented them from putting everything on the CD. (By the way, the album is very, very good, which makes the omission all the more irritating ). -- NJO --
