Does anyone "out there" know how I could get a copy of the British publication "What's on Disc?". I had the brief chance to see a copy at a local audio shop. It seemed like there are a lot of outfits offering CD's at good prices. But, then again, my Pounds to Dollars conversion may have been off. Example: I saw the Bronski Beat "Age of Consent" CD for 7.90 Pounds. At a Strawberries Record Store the same disk was 18.99 Dollars. Could someone who knows the current exchange rate figure out if that's a good deal? I know the overseas shipping probably costs a lot; does anyone know exactly how much? Finally, does anyone know how I could get a copy of some of these British CD magazines. Just An Idea, Robert DeBenedictis

Example: Generally, foreign publications (like those in the U.S.) have somewhere a paragraph containing subscription information. Most British magazines are used to dealing with U.S. customers and will include special information regarding ordering from the U.S. including dollar amounts and methods of payment. Generally (particularly with the current state of the U.S. dollar) it is much cheaper to buy a subscription this way than to try to buy individual copies from a dealer in the U.S. Therefore, it's worth buying a first copy from a U.S. dealer (even if it means paying an outrageous price) just to get the information on how to subscribe. - Greg Paley
