[net.audio] A neophyte's request for information.

	I am a neophyte to audio equipment and have a few questions:

	1) Are there any good books on audio terminology, something
    that would explain the meanings of all the wonderful terms that
    are used on equipment spec sheets and also give the basic low-down
    on the various technologies available?

	2) What are the differences between the various types of
    tape(normal, CrO2, Metal)?

	3) What are the various noise reduction methods(I have heard
    of Dolby B and Dolby C)?, how do they work? etc...
