[] Subject(s): audio-related texts The Audio Amateur cassette durability I'm putting together a bibliography of audio-related texts. A recent posting by Phil R. on the joys of rearranging the internals of one's equipment seems to have pushed me over an edge I have been dangerously close to for years. However, before I start ripping out components, etc., I would like to have a couple of relevant references at hand. If anybody out there knows of a book or two that belong in any complete audio reference library, please send me mail and let me know what it is. It would be good if you could indicate whether one needs an engineering background to read it or not. I will post the complete list in a couple of weeks. (Phil R. - since you caused this to happen to me, I expect to hear from you first :-). One book that I already have on order is "High Performance Loudspeakers" (3 ed.) by Martin Collins. Anybody have an opinion of this one? Previously, I posted some questions about the Audio Amateur and cassette durability. I will post shortly a summary of mail I received on the cassette stuff. The address of The Audio Amateur is (as of 1982): P.O. Box 576 Peterborough, NH 03458 $18 for 5 issues. Is this still correct?
