First, you should realize that there is another possibility besides
your suggestion that I do not understand the messages that you,
George Labelle, or Herb Chong have been posting -- namely, that
I understand them perfectly well and disagree. In the absence
of actual evidence, I can't say much more. I eagerly await your
references.

Second, I'm sure you know that calling someone ignorant is not
a good way to convince him of anything, so stop it.

Finally, your comments, entertaining though they might be, are
irrelevant. In a test of this sort that turns up with negative
results, it is ALWAYS possible to claim that the lack of results
is due to some deficiency in the other equipment used. There is
simply nothing we could possibly have done to eliminate the
possibility of that criticism.

Therefore, if you question the validity of our results, the proper
thing for you to do is to construct a similar experiment that
does not share the problems that you believe invalidate those
results.

Incidentally, one of the things we plan to do when we get the time
is to repeat the experiment using smb's DCM Time Windows and jj's
home-grown monster boxes.
