Does anyone know where to find good prices on CD's (and good selections, esp. jazz) in the Chicago, Naperville, Schaumburg areas? Blue Sky Records in Naperville has OK prices, but not much selection. Rose Records, Sound Warehouse, Record City, Oranges all have pretty good selections, but their prices seem to be a little hign (14.50 and up). Rolling Stone probably has good prices and good selections, but I haven't been there yet. It's interesting to note that, when I was in Rome last March (before I started buying CD's), I saw CD's at a record store there for $8.99. It's incredible how the American record companies and distributorships have got us over the coals (as FZ says "record company pricks"). I can't believe it costs $5 to import CD's.
