Well, this morning, I got my 2020SL back, or perhaps I should say that I went and got it after North American Phillips was done fixing it. I brought it home, put on "Don Giovanni", and sat back. Part way through the second aria, it spazed, turned itself off, and started to smell bad. I called NAP, and took it back. The person at the service center looked properly stricken, and said "Oh dear, oh my, it was working this morning..." and "Of course, we'll fix it. We'll call you. " and so on. The person who did the work did indeed look surprised, but that's not exactly comforting, I fear. I'll keep the net posted. I must note that I met a 2020SL owner in the lot when I went in, and a 3030SL owner on the way out. Makes me wonder how Phillips is doing these days. -- TEDDY BEARS MAY BECOME EXTINCT!
