The "ADD" (etc.) labelling is actually pretty common -- all classical
discs from Polygram (Philips, DGG, London) use it.  Columbia seems to
put "DIGITALLY MASTERED ANALOG RECORDING" on the front of all their CDs
that were not digitally recorded.

If you feel strongly about these things, vote with your feet!
Don't buy CDs that aren't labelled the way you want.  Write to
the manufacturers and tell them why you aren't buying their
products.  They read such letters.
