I am interested in a four conductor cable that can be used for speaker wire. I plan to hook up four speakers in parallel (two per channel). The distance between the cabinets will be about 40'-50' and the distance form the amplifiers will be about 30'-40'. The reason I need four conductor cable is that each cabinet contains a woofer and two high frequency drivers. I am using an electronic crossover and two seperate amplifiers. I went to this setup because I like the flexibility I have in the bi-amp set up over setups involving passive speaker crossovers. So far I've seen 16/4 (16 gauge/ 4 conductor) cable and it seems to be what I need but the guy in the store didn't advise me using it as speaker wire. He said something about losses (the place was very busy at the time and he couldn't explain). Could anyone explain what he was talking about and recommend the correct cable if it exist? Lorenzo
