C'mon. Does *no one* out there have the address of Audio Amateur?
There seem to be a few people out here, me among them, that would
like to see it.

The June 1982 issue in my office says PO Box 576, Peterborough, NH 03458
or (603) 924-6526 (VISA/MC accepted). I believe this is still correct.
For those in need of context, Audio Amateur Magazine specializes in articles
on constructing or modifying audio componentry.

They also have had in the past some good theoretical articles and
biographies; but it's been a while since I subscribed.

Distribution:

I remember hearing of a magazine called 'Audio Amateur', but I can't
remember where. I believe it was in this newsgroup. The problem is now that
I actually want information about it, I find that it is not listed in the
'Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature'.

Does anyone out there have any information about it (including publisher and
subscription information)? Thanks in advance.

Write:

	Audio Amateur Publications
	P.O. Box 576
	Peterborough, NH 03458

Subscriptions were $18/year last time I checked. The subscriptions are on
a calendar-year basis - i.e., you get all the existing 1985 issues as soon
as you subscribe, with the remainder to be sent when published.

Back issues are available at least to '80; I have no information on price.

I have a collection of Audio Amateur magazines spanning eight years,
from the first issue, 1/1970, to 3/1978. In that span, their address
changed once, from Swarthmore, PA, to P.O. Box 176, Peterborough,
NH, 03458. Their publisher in both locations was Edward T. Dell, Jr.

I don't know if they are still in business, or at the same location.

It's interesting (to me, anyway) that one of the articles in the last
issue I have is a review of the Hafler DH101. The first issue contains,
among other things, an article titled `Improve your Dyna PAT-4'. Progress.
