[net.audio] Opinions on Yamaha CD 37.

     I am interested in buying the Yamaha CD 37 Compact Disc Player.
If you have heard anything about one or if you own one I would be
grateful for any opinions you might have about it.

It has the hottest high end of any CD I've ever seen or heard of.  It is very
audible and even measurable (+2 dB at 15kHz). SO -- Caveat Emptor... if you
like the added brilliance, get it, but I can't stand to listen to one for more
than about 10 minutes!!!

PS I'd most highly recommend getting a Magnavox 2040 with a Musical Concepts
mod.
