Billboard had an article on some new players coming out in January.
Here's the meat of the article:

Sony D-7:
	The Discman.
Portable player w/ rechargable battery, carrying case,
	16-selection random programming, 'shuffle-play', two-speed search
	and A-B phrase repeat [?].

Newly designed pick-up drive mechanism and multi-purpose chips allowed
a 40% [!] reduction in volume compared to the D-5 and %15 reduction
	in weight.

Measurements include clip on nicad battery unit, w/ 4.5 hours of play.
	AC adapter is standard equipment.

Market introduction in January. Suggested list of $299.95

Pioneer PD-C7:
	Another portable player.
Also to be introduced in January. Has a docking drawer feature
and can be used as a component in the Pioneer's portable boom-box
systems. $299.95 +$50 for battery pack and carrying case.
	$15 for AC Adapter.

Pioneer PD-M6:
Standard sized player that incorporates a 6-disc magazine-type
changer component that can double as a storage unit.
Once inserted the discs need not be handled any further nor replaced
in their jewel boxes. The magazine is less than half the thickness
of the 6 jewel cases it replaces.

The magazine allows the PD-M6 mechanism to pull any disc into
postion for playback. Sequences of 32 selections may be programme
with access to any track or disc. Longest access time is said
to be 10 seconds worst case. Additional 6-disc magazines may be
purchased, at $9.95 each and storage slipcases, with room for
	cataloging data will be offered.

Will come with remote control and a single play disc tray a
standard equipment. Suggested list of $499.95
