[net.audio] Info wanted on NAD 5255 CD player

Hi.  I was talking to a salesman in a local hifi stereo store about CD
players.  The owner recommended purchasing the NAD 5255 player.
According to him, it is on sale at $389 (normal price he claims is $550).

Being new and relatively unenlightened, I would appreciate your input on
both the quality and also the price of this CD player.  Is it good?  Is it
great?  Could I do better?
