I apologize for posting this, I could not return a reply to the person who E-mailed me a few questions on the digital EQ/Freq. Analyzer I bought from DAK. Never having owned, or used, a standard EQ I can't compare the one I got from DAK to a standard EQ. However, I can give you my virgin impressions: 1) A remote control EQ *must* be an order of magnitude more convenient than the adjust-go-back-to-listening-area-decide_on-further-change loop that I suppose a manual EQ requires. I think your question [about using the little toggle switches rather than slide switches] might imply that you aren't aware that all functions on the EQ cabinet are dupped on the remote (except power, and the remote functions work differently sometimes). 2) The unit saves 4 spectra with seperate left and right in each if you want (I set left=right). 3) I haven't the slightest idea about price/performance. 4) Be aware that the granularity of control is 2 db. To me this is about as small a change as I can notice, others may find this too coarse. -- Yours in hair, Bear ihnp4!houxm!hropus!jin
