We are planning to upgrade our serial-line handling using Able or
Emulex DHs. At the moment we have a pile of Plessey DZ11's, most
of which we will want to unload eventually. They are well behaved
and are 100% software compatible with DEC DZs. We will probably
want to dispose of three DZs (24 lines total) and one distribution
panel (16 lines worth) initially. The Plessey DZs will plug into
a DEC DZ distribution panel, so the extra could be used by someone
who already has a single DZ on a standard 16-line distribution panel.
Time scale for this is a few months, depending on ordering delays for
and arrival of the replacement hardware. Interested?
