I wrote away to about four regional tourist boards and have received some information from two of them (Niagara and Central Ontario). A visit to the local Chamber of Commerce got me some handy Ontario government books on winter events. By far, the most information that was in any one source was in the CAA guide book. I highly recommend this book if you are going to do any vacationing in Ontario at all. The person at the CAA office also said that *they* do the phoning around for you; it sounds too good to be true! I haven't made a decision yet but it looks like I'll be able to take advantage of some good savings!
