A recent Usenet news posting from James E. O'Dell (lanl!quark!jim.UUCP) of the Advanced Computation Group, Los Alamos National Laboratory announced the creation of 3 new mailing lists on the ARPANET. These lists will serve to support the active dissemination of information about the DOE version of MACSYMA. Several people at Los Alamos will be providing support for these mailing lists. The three new mailing lists are: MACSYMA - General information about MACSYMA and new releases. It will also be the place to report bugs in the DOE version. INFO-MACSYMA - Information about user contributed code, and questions about the use of MACSYMA BUG-MACSYMA - A restricted mailing list for those people involved in maintaining MACSYMA. In the interests of keeping the volume of network mail down a little, I will be happy to redisribute the first two mailing lists to anyone nearby who might wish to receive them. The third list will be available only from James O'Dell directly. If you would like me to mail you these lists as I obtain them, send me mail by either UUCP or BITNET to either of the addresses below. Note that these lists should be of interest to MACSYMA users of the Symbolics version as well, as the MACSYMA source is almost the same.
