I have a PDP-11/34 eating up space in my apartment, now that
I have real furniture I would like to have the space back. If I just
throw it out I'm going to lose sleep wondering if some kindly soul
would have given it a good home instead of being munched by some
cold garbage disposal unit, destroyed without any of the respect
this piece of history so rightly deserves.
So if you have any use/need {??} for just such a beast then
get in touch with me at work, home or via email, you may need a van
or pickup to take it where you will because I also have a couple of
other monsters that go with it....
It's in a 5 foot cabinet which houses a 800 bpi tape drive
{sorry no controller for it}, the PDP is in there with the tape and
a 2 Meg ram disk from Plessey. Hiding in the other corner is a
CDC 9762 disk drive with removable disk pack, this one sits on its
own pedestal and weighs in at over 180 lbs.
I have a couple of DZ-11 cards and a controller for an RX 01/2
8" disk drive {I have the RX 01 drive if you really want it too}.
That's about it, I'm willing to split them up. Renumeration
is negotiable, be it paper or liquid or trade, I'm open to suggestions
but I will take the best offer {if I get any ;-)}.
So if there is anyone out there mad enough to take me up on
this once in a lifetime offer, please give me a call.
