[ont.general] Macintosh SE for sale

john@trigraph.UUCP (John Chew) (03/16/89)

I'd like to sell my Mac SE and buy an SE/30 -- I can't wait for the upgrade.

If you have $3000 (or a best offer) to spend on an SE, send me e-mail or
call me at +1 416 979 7166 (in the evening unless you want to talk to an
answering machine). I bought the SE a year ago, it's still in perfect
condition and under AppleCare.

To be precise, it's a Macintosh SE with 1 megabyte of RAM, a 20 megabyte
(Apple internal SCSI) hard disk, the regular (non-extended) Apple keyboard,
and I suppose I will even toss in the mouse. And I'll leave any public
domain software I have intact on the disk.

It's a nice machine, good for video games, word processing, using as a
terminal, desktop publishing and graphic design etc. -- you've read the
ads. Last I checked, list price was $4600 and the U of T Computer Shop
was discounting them to students at $3700.
