Anyone flaming and/or working on the ABCDE problem should read chapter 5 of an old (1967) book entitled "Computer Programming and Related Mathematics" by Richard Andree. In it he presents 3 examples of mathematical problems that are best solved (primarily) by thinking, not coding. One of them is: Find all four digit integers that are perfect squares and contain only even digits. A simple problem, just like ABCDE. Dave Poplawski ~e ~e
