c i just read my response to that question and find that i typed it wrong (having just typed the name "john" i guess my fingers felt obligated to type it again) what i meant was: (hmmm now I've forgotten the names of the principles; the question was-- x and y lie, z tells the truth, find x by asking each a question.) ask "are you y"; the one that says "yes" is x.
