Due to the vagaries of news forwarding, I've twice seen answers to questions before the articles which posed the questions. To those of you who post answers to the net (as soon as you see the question) instead of MAILING to the submitter: there's really no need to show the rest of us how brilliant you are. If you know the answer, mail it to the submitter. The submitter ought to be the one to answer it, if it really needs an answer (the train and bee question is probably one doesn't need an answer since it's been in so many puzzle books). Discussion about the answer or interpretations of the answer are proper topics for net.math; simple answers aren't.
