If you are planning on attending the Usenix/Uniforum Conference January 17-20 in Washington D.C., please be advised that room space at the hotel is very limited. I suggest that you make room reservations as soon as possible if you want to stay at the conference hotel itself. To make reservations, call the Washington Hilton at 202-483-3000. Unfortunately there are no other hotels close by the Washington Hilton; yet another good reason to plan way ahead for this conference.

If you don't get into the Washington Hilton or you want to save a few dollars, the Holiday Inn Connecticut Avenue is at 1900 Connecticut Avenue, just across the street from the Washington Hilton. It's a typical highrise Holiday Inn with free parking, but few other redeeming features. I have no stake in Hilton, Holiday Inn, or any other hotel, but the previous message said there was nothing nearby. Also there is a reasonably dependable Connecticut Avenue bus service, so one can stay in the general neighborhood and manage OK. See you all there.
