Since we are into "same on two days" etc., here is a neat result (VERY non-tri- vial!) It's (an application of) the Borsok[sp?]-Ulam Theorem: At any given time, there is a pair of points A,B on the surface of the earth with the property that: 1. A and B are antipodal (the line joining them goes through the center of the earth; 2. The temperatures at A and B are the same; 3. The barometric pressures at A and B are the same. (You can substitute any continuous, everywhere-defined functions of 2-d location on the surface of the earth for temperature and barometric pressure.) -- Jerry decvax!yale-comix!leichter
