There is a way to enter the Implementers Crypt and then into endgame in our version (called Dungeon). It has been quite awhile since I was there and I don't recall exactly what the proceedure is. I will look at my stuff to find out how and reply if someone else hasn't in the mean time. I am certain that you must first get all the treasure out. While I'm here, does anyone know of a way to open the Jewel Encrusted Egg without the help of the Thief?

In our version (called zork) you type "break egg with X.""X"\ can be your hands,sword knife,etc.

The problem with breaking the egg by yourself is that it usually (always for me) breaks the clockwork canary inside, vital to getting another treasure. Can you do this without breaking it?

The Thief, under certain circumstances, will open the egg for you. It is necessary to take the egg to the thiefs hideaway though. Also, there is a particular sequence of actions that you can follow to live through the encounter.
