The ranger's name was (believe it or not) Smith. Bugs Bunny had an enemy by the name of Elmer Fudd, and Mel Blanc has done Bugs Bunny during most of Bugs career. Rick Lindsley uwvax!rodolf

Yogi Bear's buddy was Boo-boo. Not Bo-Bo.

Ranger Smith is Yogi's nemesis, Elmer Fudd chases Bugs Bunny and Mel Blanc does the voices in all of the Warner Brothers cartoons.

Without giving away the voice of E.F., Bugs, Daffy, hell, he did ALL the voices in ALL the Warner cartoons, and EVERYBODY knows his name. The kicker is WHY M.B. did all the voices...any takers? =Ned Horvath=

The rangers name in yogi bear is ..... Mr. Ranger
berry@sri-unix (09/08/82)
Mel Blanc does all the voices for Warner Bros. Cartoons. I can only recall Yogi's Ranger as being "Mr. Ranger, Sir."
hutch@sri-unix (09/08/82)
Yogi's pal was Boo-boo, not Bo-bo. Ranger Smith was the park ranger.
hutch@sri-unix (09/08/82)
By the way, Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Yakky Doodle Duck, and numerous other cartoons are HANNA BARBERA *not* Warner Bros. The initial voice characterizations were probably not Mel Blanc, but the more recent ones (drek, all of it after 1970) are done by a whole slew of different people.

WHY M.B did all the voices... He couldn't draw?

More exactly, the ranger was Ranger ("Mr. Ranger, Sir") Smith. Cheers, John ("I'm Not Afraid To Sign My Middle Name") DeTreville

As I recall the voices of the HANNA BARBERA cartoons were done by Daws Butler. I know for a fact that he did Quick Draw McGraw and his side kick Bahba Louie (I know the spelling is way off but it sounds good.)
