I'm looking for a new game. I want one that only takes one person, pencil, a small amount of paper, a fair to middlin' amount of thinking, and but a limited vacabulary. I don't want something like 'pick two four letter words, change one letter at a time ine to make it into the other all the while using real words.' These aren't (usually) all that difficult, but they're just not what I'm looking for. Any thing I might have to use a dictionary for is out. The game should be interesting, easy to learn, and difficult to master. So far I've not seen such an animal. I'm sure, however, that one exists. If anyone knows where I can find such a game, either mail it or its source to me. Thanks Ryan

Such a games does exist. It is a doublecrostics. These do not, normally, require a dictionary, although that would help at times. They are something like a crossword. They can be found every month in Games magazine
