Jack L.Chalker, author of the many science-fiction books, has written
a series of books about a world at the center of the Universe, the Well World.
On this world, there are hundreds of nations, each with a race of beings.
Each hex (the nations are hexagons) is either low tech, semi tech, or high tech.
This is very important; in a low tech hex, no electricity will work. Nothing
more than direct man power will work there. In semi tech hex, nothing more
than steam engines will work. This keeps the nations from beating up each
other. There is a search for a man named Nanthan Brazil in many nations, and
important personages are highly prized captures. Now...How many of you think
this is a great idea for an Empire type game? Do you think it would be worth
