HELP ME!!! I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to get through that stupid maze of tunnels that are all alike. I know that the pirate is in there somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't find him. If some one would like to help a poor, since the pirate came around, adventurer, could you give me the directions for finding the pirate in the maze, and the directions back out? Also, if there are any tricks to beating the pirate, could you send those also? This adventurer will appreciate all help.

More help needed by other adventurers! Although much help has been received on how to get through the maze, I and my compatriots have already received the computers helpful? hints. The fact that my friends and I wanted to know is simply how to get to the pirate and his miserable chest. Is the thing near the pit? Can someone give me the directions to take? Please, no more semi- cryptic answers that allude to the computer's help. Once more, we will appreciate all help received.

The way to get thru the maze to the treasure chest is to map out
the maze. There are 16 distinct rooms (this is hard to tell because they
all look alike) and 8 "dead ends". The way to make the rooms identifiable
is to drop an item in each room as you enter it . then you can move from
room to room and produce a complete map. It may take several tries to do it
since you have a limited supply of items to drop.
*******WORSE SPOILER**********
If you are to lazy to do the mapping the following route will take you
from the west end of the Hall of Mists to the treasure chest -
s,e,s,s,s,n,e (you will now be in the Pit) then e,nw (you are now at the
treasure chest)
to get out from the treasure chest go - se,n,d and you will get to the Bird Room

P.S you can also get into the maze by the Stalactite but you will enter the
maze at either one of two locations making it harder to find where you are.
