I am a diehard empire fanatic. Our machine lost empire along time ago, and want to play again desperately. If anyone out there has a source of a 4.1 BSD and is willing to send a copy to me, I would be forever grateful. Please respond to ...cbosgd! bsw. Hopeful, Ben Walls cbosgd!bsw

Yes, whatever happened to the "promises" made by P.S. Langston in this regard? Could it be that I somehow missed out on the updated version of Empire which (several months ago) was soon to be distributed? -- _______________________________________________________________________________ Greg Paris | decvax!brunix!rayssd!gmp (slow) Raytheon Sub. I believe P. S. Langston dropped out of the business of debugging Empire, in order to pursue a career in writing video-type games for money. Charles Poirier (decvax!vax135!cjp)

#R:rayssd:-41400:zinfandel:5000002:000:460 zinfandel!berry Mar 8 08:49:00 1984 I talked to Peter Langston at UniForum in Washington, and he told me that he had been extremely busy doing real work at LucasFilm (real work, you know, the kind that pays the bills...). It had let up a bit lately though, and he indicated that a new games tape would be out 'real soon now'. From this I infer that it won't be very soon, but that if we are patient, it WILL happen.
