[net.games] Better chess programs for UNIX ?

Hi,
	Are there any better chess programs for UNIX (other than the
original Ken Thompson chess (V5, V6)...) ? Preferably written in C
(the original was written in C and PDP-11 assembler.) I'm not finding the
original very challenging (which isn't saying much).
