Help! I've recently rekindled my interest in Adventure and have
explored most of Colossal cave. I need help with the following:

	1. How do I get light into the dark-room.
	2. How do you get to the repository.
	3. Where in the maze is the pirate's chest.
	4. What is the "Spekuler" magazine for.

Clues or out-right give aways will be appreciated as I am ready to give up.
My highest score has been 227/350.

	1. How do I get light into the dark-room.
ans.	The dark-room is called the PLOVER room. If you go to Y2 with
the lamp and say PLOVER you are transported to the dark-room.
I won't tell you how to get out, you will have to discover
	that for yourself!

	2. How do you get to the repository.
ans.	In order to be transported to the repository, you must complete
all tasks (visiting each room) and by discovering all of the
treasures. Then just wander around for about 10 turns and you
will be transported to the repository.

	3. Where in the maze is the pirate's chest.
ans.	I will only give you 2 clues.
		1. If the pirate steals your stuff during the game
the chest will be moved from one maze to another.
Do NOT try to get the chest until the pirate has
stolen something. The maze that it is transported
		to is easier to solve.

		2. The only way to get the chest is by maping the
maze. To do this, drop things in each "maze room"
		to draw your map.

	4. What is the "Spekuler" magazine for.
ans.	Clue only: There is some place where you are supposed to
leave the magazine for extra points close to where you
find it. I think the point value is around 5 points.
Note: placing the magazine in the correct place is not
necessary to enter the repository and finish the game.

	Happy adventuring!

Almost correct. The point value for the correct placement of the
Spelunker magazines is 1 (that's right, one).
