put coal in machine to transform into diamond; machine is activated by turning

INCANTATIONS:

From zork type : "incant, DNZHUO IDEQTQ" to get to endgame

To get to GDT level type GDT and answer chalange. If the first command
 you use is GDT, the chalange will be DNZHUE and the answer is IDEQTQ.

ENDGAME TRICKS:

break beam, then push red button;
enter mirror; really a vehicle sliding along groove; lift short pole to turn
(push a colored wall until north); push pole back in place; push mahogany wall
to move, until end of course; then turn to south (lifting short pole again);
then push pine wall to exit;

Tell the master to stay in north corridor, go to the pit and "take five".
Open cell door, turn dial to four, push button, go south in the
cell to discover the bronze door, get master to the pit, go to cell,
close its (wood) door, tell master to push button, open bronze door,
get into Nirvana, that's it!

Hmm, a few clarifications are in order. Some of the equipment belongs
to a version of Zork with more possible points. My comments are in
brackets ...

TRAPS:

sharp stick (pierces boat)  [Useful for something else though ...]

USELESS:

guano (?)	[Bat guano is explosive under the right conditions ...]
rusty box (?)	[There is something in here you need. Open with brick
		 and wire...]

[Left over from another version. You tied a rope to it at the top
 of the ramp and threw the rope down the ramp. You could then climb
 *halfway* down the ramp and get off in a small area. You could also
 peer into one of three spheres and see the location of one of the
 other two.]

If anyone is really into cheating, I have a set of files that can be
piped through Zork that win the game. It is tuned for my system, you
might have to retune it for yours. By tuning I mean that I had to put
some 'waits' in there to make sure that the thief cleared the room
before I walked into it.

For whatever it is worth, I have won the full (616 points?) Zork and
Endgame in is original version at MIT. I *think* I know everything
there is to know about playing it... Enjoy yourselves.
