Commentary or Review: I got HHGTG before Christmas and am throughly disgusted with it. I have "played" a number of such games but have never had as much trouble. Infocom ranks HHGTG as at standard level while StarCross is advanced. For me StarCross is much easier. Has anyone out there made it through HHGTG? Don't buy! Pleas for help: Any suggestions with the following would be appreciated. While I don't want outright answers, substantial clues are needed. 1) Screening door. 2) Operating the drive WITHOUT losing points. 3) Manipulating Eddie or Marvin. 4) What to do after the missiles are launched. 5) The hatch. 6) The war chamber. 7) Four kinds of fluff. Hints requested by others: 1) Party: Look closely at those involved. 2) Beast: Wander around and use what you find. 3) Dark: What is changing in the descriptions. Also, they sometimes lie.
