Does anyone know exactly what items to bring to the dungeon master
when you arrive at his door? I've tried an assortment and I believe
that he wants only certain things. I would appreciate any help in this area!!!!!!!!
Thanks a million in advance!!!!

In Zork III, is it possible to get the book out of the royal puzzle?
I am stuck here and need some help.

          Sincerely,

Of course it's possible to get the book. The OBJECT of the
puzzle is of course to get the ladder under the hole, so that you can
climb back out. Try modeling the puzzle -- this is how I solved it...

What clues does Zork III give for the royal puzzle in the first place?
I always get trapped if I go down the puzzle, and I don't know how to open
the door in the side room.

Currently, my treasure inventory consists of a strange key, staff,
golden ring, hood, cloak, and golden amulet. Does the Dungeon Master also
require the "book?" What other items do you need?

It took me a long time to figure out, and I can't think of a better
hint than just telling you -- try pushing on the walls. As near as I can
tell, there are no hints to this -- you are just supposed to guess!

You're about set -- I think you do need the book, but you should
be able to get it now...

>LEAVE GAME

You find yourself sitting in your chair in front of your
home computer. Your wife, bored and angry at being ignored in favor
of a stupid computer game, sits nearby.

There is a meat cleaver here.

Look at the walls of the rooms in the royal puzzle. Push on them.
If you solve the puzzle, you will not need to open that door.

After much pain I finally got into the dungeon!!
The best way to solve the Royal Puzzle is to draw a map of the puzzle
when you first get in. Also, marble walls cannot be moved.

And yes, again I'm stuck....I cannot get the bronze door open.
One thing that deceived me is that even though you change locations
when you hit the button with a the arrow pointed to a different number,
items dropped outside of the Parapet still remain there. Any hints?

I had two major problems in solving Zork III: (1) getting the ring and (2)
getting the book. Originally, I thought I had tried to push the gold
machine around but the program wouldn't let me. Hence, I speant
hours of wasting time fooling around with the guards not knowing that
you could push the machine into the jewel room.
And again in the puzzle I THOUGHT that I had tried
pushing on all the walls so I gave up on it. What makes me mad is that you can
have the right idea but not the exact wording which results in hours of wasted
time. Sigh, I guess its my fault for playing these stupid games instead of
doing homework.
