Softeam, a software distributor in Los Angeles, has stopped carrying
the new Infocom games for CP/M-80 systems. My (tiny) mail-order house
is looking for an alternate distributor, so that we can get Infocom
games at wholesale. Does anyone have any leads?
The deal with Softeam is that, once you're qualified as a dealer
(requires a copy of your business license and a display ad), you can
buy whatever you want at wholesale, as long as each order totals to at
least $100. The best way to pay is UPS COD (they'll take a check), and
the shipping charge is usually about $5. Infocom games go for 40% off.
This is still a good deal for "current" machines such as the IBM PC and
the Macintosh.
