Where is the collar? Hidden in one of the last few places it is possible for you to look. Solve every other puzzle you can find before you worry about it... > 2) We have an orange cake which explodes. What good is it? If you take it > down the well and use it it just crumbles to dust. To the best of my knowledge, it is useless -- you can certainly solve the game without it. It is mostly a booby trap... > 3) The Demon wants treasure before he will do our bidding. Can we have a list of the 10 treasures to > be sure we have everything? > 4) In the bank, what does the gnome want to let us get by with the portrait? Since you haven't got the portrait out of the bank, you probably haven't found the money yet, either (guess where it is!). You should be able to get both out of the bank without ever encountering the gnome, but it takes a lot of trial and error.
